Wifi for Fashionistas

If you are sensitive on design of electronic gadgets , the new Belkin N1 Vision might be for you.
This new Wifi router is combining a very nice look with all recent features of a wifi router and an exclusive LCD display for monitoring upload and download speed , bandwidth usage , attached devices , guest network keys and so on . Among the others here are the interesting specs
- Up to 300Mbps in 20/40MHz channel mode
- Compatible with IEEE 802.11g, 802.11b, 802.11n draft 2.0, 802.3ab
- WAN – 1 Gigabit port; LAN – 4 Gigabit ports
- WPA, WPA2; 64-/128-bit WEP encryption; multiple SSID
- VPN Support: PPTP; IPSec pass-through
The price of the Belkin N1 Vision will be around us$ 200,00.
So , I’m not a kind of fashion addicted and the rough box of Netgear or Linksys products for me is Ok , even if they might collide with my apartment interior design , but , if Belkin would send me one to test it or better to transform it into a beautiful Fon hotspot , I will appreciate it.
Belkin marketing dept , are you there ?

Nice indeed, and really powerful. Would be great something like this LCD with La Fonera, with information about aliens, foneros, …
200$ bufff, I will continue with my Linksys and DD-WRT.

I think this is a very stylish product.
It would be perfect for me if it would provide one USB port, (like provided with the SEH PS54a-G print server) which offers the usage of every kind of USB device over the device, too.
@ Nieko: The Fonera would have to display: “Now I am submitting your surf behaviour (-> Personal Details, Family, Lifestyle and Social Circumstances, Financial Details, Goods or Services Provided) to abroad so it can be used for marketing issues.”

So perhaps it’s better to run it blind, isn’t it?
Sorry of being so sarcastic…
